Abstract

Faced with the modern global scenario, the acquisition of multidisciplinary
skills to perform the role is vital for professionals to position themselves or remain in the job market. It has become a consensus among the academic and business community that
not only technical skills are sufficient to achieve success, but professionals must
incorporate skills such as communication, flexibility and adaptability, teamwork, dealing
with pressure, self-confidence, a positive attitude, supporting criticism, resilience,
problem solving, emotional intelligence, among others (soft skills). In Brazil, the National
Education Council (CNE) establishes guidelines for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)
and among them is the practice of integrative projects that aim to promote
interdisciplinarity or transdisciplinarity, in such a way that the student can articulate the
different disciplines of the course. This article proposes a roadmap for developing
integrative projects in the bachelor/technology field, based on the Design Thinking
methodology, in which the student can experiment and understand the application of
different disciplines in solving problems that arise, understanding the principle of
interdisciplinarity and fulfilling the role expected of him.
