Abstract

This article addresses the perspectives on the use of artificial intelligence in
jurisdictional activities, comparing the benefits and risks involved in the handling of this
technology by judicial actors. For this, the deductive methodology is used, based on a
bibliographic review of the doctrine. In the work, initially, conceptual and historical
aspects about the digital revolution are fixed. Then, the possibilities, already implemented
and in prospect, of the use of artificial intelligence in the exercise of judicial activity will
be explored. The benefits and risks arising from the use of this technology by judicial
actors will be outlined, concluding the need to ensure a robust and precise regulation on
the subject in Brazilian legislation.
