A CONTRAECONOMIA COMO RESPOSTA A INTERVENÇÃO ESTATAL: AGORISMO

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of state interventionism on the growth of
counter-economy in Brazil, highlighting how excessive regulations and taxation
encourage alternative economic practices outside state control. Based on agorism, a
theory that advocates for a free and autonomous market, the study explores cases of tax
evasion and cigarette smuggling, showing that these practices consolidate as forms of
resistance and foster parallel economic networks, promoting autonomy and economic
freedom among citizens.
