Abstract

This study examined AMAZUL's budget allocation and financial execution from 2019 to 2024, emphasizing its institutional priorities, challenges, opportunities, and future perspectives. A descriptive-quantitative and documentary approach was adopted, with data extracted from the SIGA Brasil platform (Budget Portal) and AMAZUL's Management Reports (2019-2023). The analysis revealed that, although AMAZUL plays a strategic role in developing nuclear and maritime defense technologies, its share of the Ministry of Defense's budget is limited. Furthermore, it was observed that, over the years, AMAZUL has adjusted its priorities to meet the demands of the Naval Nuclear Program (PNM), the Submarine Development Program (PROSUB), and the Brazilian Nuclear Program (PNB), expanding its operations to areas such as nuclear medicine, sustainability, and modular reactors.
