O DESIGN GRÁFICO PÓS-MODERNO O ESTILO NEW WAVE DE WOLFGANG WEINGART

Abstract

The present article proposes a study about concepts and aspects of postmodern ideals
in graphic art, as well as the New Wave movement, or Swiss Punk Typography, spread by
Wolfgang Weingart and his students. Therefore, through the conceptual apprehension developed
about the aforementioned topic, debates that underlie it can be developed by the authors
themselves and other enthusiasts of the field. The textual development uses a historical-cultural
anchorage and tracing of relevant artistic references with the aim of a theoretical and critical
further development of this art movement that, until contemporaneity, influences aesthetically and
ideologically in the articulations present in different spheres of society
