Abstract

This work has as its objective a broad and profound study regarding the
importance of Electric Energy in the world, since its emergence, considering its first
sources of generation to the most advanced study pertinent to the theme. Research will be
presented on energy consumption in Brazil, as well as its cost of generation and
distribution. Will be various sources of renewable and non-renewable energy sources and
their environmental impacts. There is the understanding that any form of energy
generation will have an impact on the environment, but it is understood that what is
important is to assess how best to use certain resources in a sustainable way, thereby

reducing the greenhouse effect, and also ensuring the model that causes the least
aggression to the natural habitat. One of the sources of energy that is considered to have
the least impact is wind energy, which, in addition to being clean, has a low cost of
production, since it is mainly dependent on wind. Because of this, we have chosen to use
an existing device in many companies, and even in homes, to become a new source of
energy - the wind-powered exhaust fan, our focus of experimental research is on this
model
