Women's participation in the labor market has been a marked transformation
in recent decades, reflecting social, economic and cultural changes. More and more
women have gained space and visibility in various professional areas. However, it is
essential to recognize that, despite advances, inequalities persist. The gender pay gap,
underrepresentation in leadership roles and the persistence of gender stereotypes are
examples of challenges that require continued attention. Furthermore, women often face
additional obstacles, such as balancing career and family responsibilities, which are much
more demanding, which can impact their professional advancement and well-being. In
short, the majority of women tend to suffer more from the impacts, because, as much as
they want to reconcile their personal and professional lives, it is not that simple, the
excessive demands that society places on them and, above all, the demands that It ends
up being caused by the environment, resulting in anguish, stress, emotional exhaustion,
among others, which can lead to burnout syndrome, which not only harms your health,
but also has an impact on family and community health. The occurrence of burnout among
women can result in absenteeism, decreased productivity and, in extreme cases, absence
from work. To carry out this research, the “Documentary Research” methodology was
used, which consists of a broad analysis of sources, including academic studies and
epidemiological data. The justification for this study consists of the growing concern with
the prevalence of burnout, particularly in women, and the need to understand the social
dimensions associated with this syndrome. In summary, the analyzes reveal that Burnout
Syndrome not only compromises public health, influencing not only the affected
individuals, but also their social circles, but also highlights persistent challenges of gender
equity in the workplace. The significant impact on productivity and the economy,
especially among women, highlights the urgency of measures to promote equal
opportunities and combat gender discrimination, changing not only individual well-being,
but also the sustainable development of society as a pendency
