The following article aims to presente and analyze domestic violence Against
women and the challenges of urgent protective measures provided for in law 11.340
(Maria da Penha Law) and point out the reasons why the law is so flawed in fulfiling its
purpose. Objective wich is the protection of women, and suggestions for important ways
to resolve their conflicts through legal means listed in current legislation. This work,
therefore, objectively disagrees with the existing methods in current legislation to provide
for appropriate measures for the protection of women and the arising conflicts that are
still present, although it finds support in the light of the Code Of Civil Procedure and
related laws and all impacts that occur with is application.
